Monochrome v Full-Colour
Monochrome printer ribbons only have one colour panel that your printer uses to print text and images on to your signs/tags/tickets. They are perfect for creating unique, vibrant and high-contrast text and image designs. Our popular black ribbons (RCT019NAA) are perfect for white finish plastic id cards, or light coloured signs, whilst our Evolis Edikio white monochrome ribbons (RCT052NAA) contrast beautifully against black, slate and darker coloured cards.
As well as the standard Evolis Edikio black and white ribbons, we also stock red, green, blue, gold and silver single-colour ribbons. They are all compatible with the Access, Flex and Duplex, and all offer the chance to create professional vibrant designs.
With a full colour ribbon, your printer uses four different colour panels to produce high quality, colourful images and text onto your price signs. The yellow (Y), magenta (M), cyan (C), and black (K) panels can be combined to create almost endless colour combinations. For duplex printers, we also offer a YMCKO-K ribbon (R6F003EAA), perfect for double-sided printing.
